Please read these terms and conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the website www.mikeydobleracing.co.uk (the “Website”) operated by Mikey Doble Racing (“we”, “our”, “us”).


1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this Website, including purchasing merchandise from our online store, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Website.

4.2 Orders & Payment

  • By placing an order, you confirm that all details provided are accurate, and you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
  • All prices listed include VAT (where applicable). Delivery charges will be shown at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.


4.3 Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch merchandise within the timeframe stated on the Website. Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees.
  • We are not responsible for delays outside of our control (e.g., courier issues, customs delays).


4.4 Returns & Refunds

  • If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 14 days of receipt in unused, original condition for a refund or exchange.
  • Customised or personalised items cannot be returned unless faulty.
  • Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.


4.5 Risk & Title

  • Ownership of merchandise passes to you once full payment is received.
  • Responsibility for the merchandise transfers upon delivery.


5. User Accounts

Certain parts of the Website may require account creation. You are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and for any activity under your account.

Mikey Doble Racing Limited, 103-105 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, CR5 2NG, company registration 16277391 (the “Promoter”) operates skill-based challenges (“Competitions”) which you (defined as “You” or the “Entrant”) can participate in. If you answer the skill-based challenge correctly, you can (“Enter”) the draw (“Draw”) from which a (“Winner”) is selected. Your participation in a Competition and Entry into the Draw will be subject to these terms and conditions (“Competition Terms”).

 

1. Your Capacity & Right To Enter

1.1 By entering a Competition, You will be deemed to have legal capacity to do so. You will have read and understood these Competition Terms and You will be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material. The Promoter will not be responsible if You enter a Competition unlawfully. You are responsible for ensuring that your participation is lawful in your country of residence. If You are in any doubt, You should immediately leave the website and check with the relevant authorities in your country. Entries from the USA, Australia, Brazil, Hong Kong, Philippines, Italy and Austria will not be accepted.


1.2 You confirm that the Website, the Competitions, account registration, Your Entry and/or participation in any Draws are for your own personal, non-commercial use.


1.3 Competitions are open to all persons aged 18 or over, residing in the United Kingdom, excluding staff employed by the Promoter, their family, professional advisers or anyone else connected with the development or operation of the Website or administration of any Competition.


1.4 Entry into a Competition requires You to register for an online account with the Promoter. When registering an account online, you will be asked to provide an email address and confirm other personal details.


1.5 At any time and without providing a reason, the Promoter may:

  • 1.5.1 Decline to open an online account for You.
  • 1.5.2 Refuse to allow You to participate in a Competition or to be included in a Draw, or declare your Entry void.
  • 1.5.3 Close your account at any time (with no refund being given).
  • 1.6 The Promoter will close your account if it determines at its sole discretion that You have:
  • 1.6.1 Engaged in any form of fraud (actual or apparent).
  • 1.6.2 Been abusive to other Entrants or staff.
  • 1.6.3 Misrepresented Yourself or Your status or concealed information.
  • 1.6.4 Planned to hack, have hacked or otherwise interfered with the operation of the Competition or the Website.

 

2. Competition Entry

2.1 You must have a current online account with the Promoter to participate in a skill-based challenge or enter any Competition on the Website.


2.2 The Promoter may operate multiple Competitions at the same time, each with a Prize. Each Competition will require You to exercise skill, knowledge and judgement to correctly answer a skill-based challenge.


2.3 Competitions may be entered via the Website only, or by post for account holders. Availability and pricing of the Competitions are at the sole discretion of the Promoter and will be specified at the point of sale on the Website.


2.4 In some Competitions, the Promoter may allow You to participate and enter the Draw more than once. Where multiple entries are allowed, this will be confirmed on the individual Competition page.


2.5 To enter a Competition online, follow the on-screen instructions to:

  • Select the Competition you wish to enter.
  • Select the number of times you wish to participate.
  • Select the number assigned to each ticket.
  • Carefully read and confirm you agree to the Competition Terms.
  • Provide your contact and payment details (entry fee only).
  • You will receive confirmation of your completed entry by email.


2.6 To enter a Competition by post, You must register an online account and provide a valid email address. Send your entry to: MDR Comps, 103-105 Brighton Road, Coulsdon, England, CR5 2NG. Your entry must be received by 5pm before the Closing Date and must include:

  • (a) Competition you wish to enter.
  • (b) Correct answer to the Competition question.
  • (c) Your name, address and email.
  • (d) A declaration you accept the Competition Terms.

Only one postal entry per Competition allowed; multiple entries will be rejected.

Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified.

Hand-delivered entries are not accepted.

Entries must be sent by postcard via first or second-class post (special deliveries not accepted).

No receipt or confirmation will be provided for postal entries.


2.7 Flash Competitions – Postal Entry Terms: For “flash draws” or those with shortened timeframes, postal entries are accepted if received by the morning of the draw and the Competition has not yet sold out.


2.8 The Promoter is not responsible for lost, delayed or damaged postal entries or proof of posting.


2.9 All entries are final. No refunds will be given except for:

  • Cancellation of the Competition by the Promoter.
  • Entries received after the Closing Date.


2.10 Your details are added to the Promoter’s database for Competition updates, promotions and any purposes detailed in the Privacy Policy.


2.11 You agree that the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 do not apply to goods or services offered as Prizes.


2.12 These Competition Terms do not create any contract or joint venture between You and the Promoter.

 

3. Promotion Periods

3.1 Each Competition will run until either:

  • The maximum number of tickets is sold.
  • The advertised Closing Date.


3.2 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel a Competition at any time. If cancelled, refunds will be issued.

 

4. Prize Draw

4.1 The Draw details will be announced within 48 hours via the Promoter’s Facebook page and/or Website.


4.2 An entry list will be posted before the Draw.


4.3 Ticket numbers may change until the entry list is published.


4.4 The Promoter uses Google’s random number generator for Draws. Draws are live streamed on Facebook.


4.5 There will only be one Winner per Competition unless otherwise stated.


4.6 If a Competition closes early, the Winner will be selected from valid Entries received up to the revised Closing Date.


4.7 The Promoter’s Draw decision is final.

 

5. Competition Winner

5.1 The Promoter will verify the Winner’s Entry details and contact them within 48 hours via email and phone.


5.2 Winners must provide valid UK identification matching the account details.


5.3 A Winner forfeits the Prize if:

  • They cannot be contacted within 7 days.
  • They fail to confirm acceptance within 7 days.
  • They cannot provide identification.
  • They breach the Competition Terms.


5.4 Forfeited Prizes remain with the Promoter.


5.5 Prizes cannot be claimed by third parties.


5.6 Winners agree to provide photographs or videos for promotional use.


5.7 Winners agree to their name, town and images being used for publicity.


5.8 Winners agree to content of themselves with the prizes being posted on social media.

 

6. Competition Prizes

6.1 Prizes are owned by the Promoter until delivered to the Winner.


6.2 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the Prize after delivery.


6.3 No warranties are given on the Prize’s condition or value.


6.4 One free delivery attempt will be made to a UK mainland address. Additional delivery attempts or changes to delivery address may incur charges. International delivery requires separate arrangements, which the Promoter may refuse.


6.5 Where not all tickets are sold as per 3.1 or 3.2, a cash prize will be made representing 75% of the tickets sold.


6.5 All expenses are the Winner’s responsibility.

 

7. Limits of Liability

7.1 The Promoter is not liable for omissions or errors in Prize details, except for death or injury caused by negligence.


7.2 The Promoter is not responsible for incomplete Entries or communication failures.


7.3 If any terms are found invalid, the remaining terms remain in force.

 

8. Electronic Communications

8.1 The Promoter is not responsible for technical failures or internet issues.


8.2 If a Prize is awarded incorrectly due to error, the Promoter may reclaim it and award it correctly.


8.3 If a Competition closes with no Winner, the Promoter will credit your account for future entry.


8.4 Only tickets recorded in the Promoter’s system will be valid.

 

9. Data Protection Notice

9.1 Your personal data will be used to administer Competitions and may be disclosed to:

  • Payment providers.
  • Potential business acquirers or transferees.
  • Legal authorities.
  • Fraud prevention agencies.


9.2 Data may be transferred outside the UK under adequate protections.

 

10. Law and Jurisdiction

10.1 These Competition Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
